Contracts Manager – Civils – South West – Next step Regional Manager
Our client is a growing privately owned civils contractor based in the South West.They deliver highways, infrastructure and civils projects up to £15m in value. Entering into a planned period of growth the business will increase in size dramatically in the next few years. They have a customer-focussed approach evidenced by a strong proportion of repeat business from their client base. They are expanding further into the South West and are recruiting a Contracts Manager to oversee highways infrastructure projects. The role will be office based in Bristol with visits to sites in the South West as necessary. The Contracts Manager will:
- oversee Project Managers
- people manage the operational team
- recruit staff as necessary
- have overall responsibility for health and safety
- have overall responsibility for quality
- have overall responsibility for delivery of schemes
To be considered you’ll have a background and track with a recognised civils contractor in a similar role. Ideally you’ll have a BSc or HNC or equivalent in civil engineering.
