Managing Quantity Surveyor – Highways – Bristol – Stability via long-term frameworks

Our client are a well-established tier civils contractor with a huge order book for 2023/4. They have a strong track record of delivery in their preferred sectors of highways, water, infrastructure and rail and have received a significant number of awards. They are recruiting a Managing Quantity Surveyor to supervise a number of highways frameworks in the South West. The role will be office based in Bristol with visits to sites. There will be scope for flexible/home-working 1 -2 days per week. The Managing Quantity Surveyor will:

  • Take full responsibility for the financial performance of contracts
  • Be responsible for forecasting and reporting
  • Prepare cashflow forecasts on a monthly basis
  • People manage and mentor a team of QS’s
  • Prepare final accounts as necessary

To be considered you’ll have a background working for a recognised civil engineering or building contractor. You’ll also have a strong knowledge of the NEC contract.
