Our client is a leading civil engineering contractor with a record order book for 2022/3. They are cash-rich, very profitable and operate with zero debt. They deliver a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects in Highways, Rail and HS2. Due to controlled growth and expansion, they are recruiting a Senior Planner to produce tender plans/programmes for projects. The role will be office based in the West Midlands or the home counties. The Senior Planner will:

• support the tender team on bids
• assess planned and anticipated construction methods for each project
• explore opportunities for value engineering
• deliver tender programmes for submission methodology and document key milestones in the programme

To be considered you’ll have a background and track record working with a recognised tier 1 or tier 2 civil engineering contractor in a similar role. Ideally, you’ll have a BSc in civil engineering (or equivalent) and a background working operationally in civil engineering prior to moving into to work winning.
