Senior Project Manager – Civils – East Midlands – Recognition and progression

Our client is a leading civil engineering contractor with a record order book for 2022/3. They are cash-rich very profitable and operate with zero debt. They deliver a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects in Highways, Rail and HS2. Due to controlled growth and expansion, they are recruiting a Senior Project Manager to deliver a sizeable highways structures project in the East Midlands. The Senior Project Manager will:

• Have input on schemes/tenders during the bidding process
• Take ultimate responsibility for the delivery of schemes on site
• Be responsible for the procurement of subcontractors
• Manage staff and labour on site
• Take responsibility for planning and programming
• Take ultimate responsibility for health and safety on site

To be considered you’ll have a background and track-record with a recognised tier 1 or tier 2 civils contractor in a similar role. Ideally, you’ll have a BSc or HNC in civil engineering (or equivalent).
