Senior Quantity Surveyor – Highways – Suffolk – Promotion in a family-feel business
Our client is a growing privately owned civil engineering contractor based in Suffolk. They have worked on a range of award-winning projects from highways, bridges, rail to utilities across the UK. They are recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to financially manage highways/infrastructure projects up to £15m in value. The role will be office based in Suffolk with flexible working options to work from home up to 2 days per week. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:
- financially managing schemes through to final account
- developing/mentoring more junior QS’s
- providing commercial input at tender stage where necessary
- monthly cost value reconciliations
- change management
To be considered for the role you’ll have a background and track record with a recognised civils contractor in a similar role. Ideally you’ll have a BSc (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying.
