Sub Agent – Civils – Suffolk – Regionalised workload ‘family-feel’ business
Our client is a growing privately owned civil engineering contractor. They have worked on a range of award-winning projects from highways, bridges, rail to utilities across the UK. Having successfully delivered projects for a wide variety of public sector and private clients they’ve remained true to the values which initially made them stand out. They are recruiting a Sub Agent to assist in managing highways/infrastructure projects up to £25m in value. The role will be site-based on projects in Suffolk and Essex areas. The Sub Agent will be responsible for:
- Client liaison
- Procurement of materials
- Staff and subcontractor management
- Management of health and safety on site
- Liaising with consultants and designers
- Identifying opportunities for value engineering
To be considered for the role you’ll have a background and track record with a recognised civils contractor in a similar role. Ideally you’ll have a BSc (or equivalent) or HNC (or equivalent) in civil engineering.
