Health and Safety Manager – Civils – Bedfordshire – Set the culture/grow your own department
Our client is a privately owned groundworks contractor based in Bedfordshire. They have a strong reputation for the quality of their product on site with their blue chip residential developer client base. They deliver groundworks packages in the home counties and have ambitious plans for growth. They are recruiting a Health and Safety Manager to promote the right health and safety culture with the support of the senior management team in the business. The role will be office based in Bedfordshire with visits to sites in the home counties as necessary. The Health and Safety Manager will:
- Manage and implement health and safety systems
- Conduct safety meetings on site
- Review site safety documentation
- Develop and review health and safety policies and procedures
To be considered you’ll have a background and track record with a recognised groundworks or civils contractor in a similar role. You’ll also have an industry recognised health and safety qualification.
