You know planning and  programmes inside out. You’ve been there done that got the t-shirt as far as planning in civils and you’ve got the background on site. But there’s something missing. You know you’re capable of more. Initially you’ll work as a Senior Planner primarily on water schemes for Severn Trent. You’ll work from an office based in the East Midlands.

Working from a blank canvass is a challenge but it’s one you’ll relish as you’ll get to put in systems and processes the way you know things should be done. Your influence will grow as the business increases in size and you recruit and develop a planning team to work with you.

Working with the leadership team you’ll oversee tender and live project programmes with a keen eye on contracts and change.

This civils contractor are growing and are set to expand significantly over the coming years. You’ll be walking into an established secure business with real vision but where everyone’s ideas are welcomed as there’s a real focus on delivery and continuous improvment.

First and foremost you’re a civil engineer who has brought those skills to the planning arena. You’ll know your main responsibility is to ensure commercial certainty on projects for the business. You’ll also have an eye on leading or mentoring others – now or in the future – but you’ll remain a doer who isn’t afraid to get stuck in.
