They’re looking for a Commercial Manager who’ll work with the owner, lead a small team and be the commercial conscience of the business – you won’t mind getting your hands dirty as there will be hands on surveying short term.

You’ll:

• People manage a small team
• Work closely with the ops team to minimise costs and optimise financial recovery
• Review budgets and forecasts
• Assist escalating issues and contractual concerns

Medium to long term is where things get interesting.

These guys are serious about growth and the commercial team will have to get bigger to support that.

You’ll grow and develop your own ‘A’ team shaping and developing the commercial department and its processes with YOUR ideas.

And you’ll have FULL autonomy to do this.

The business is a growing civils/groundworks contractor based in South West with most of their work concentrated in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, and Bristol.

You won’t get bored as there’s a good level of diversity to their workload spanning highways, utilites as well as commercial and residential groundworks.

Results in the business are important but so are people’s lives.

They actually recognise this and are happy for someone to work from home up to 2 days per week.
